Abstract:
Process for concentrating blood coagulation factors II, VII, IX and X in plasma preparations or plasma fractions or other fluids containing these factors, by adsorption of the coagulation factor or factors on a polymeric matrix carrying alpha-hydroxyl-amino groups, and elution of the factors. It is also possible to prepare in a straightforward manner a highly concentrated factor IX preparation with a purity of more than 10 U/mg of protein by suitable chromatographic conditions.
