Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a chitosan membrane impregnated with a liquid crystal substance which can apply the drugs to the inflammatory body part effectively and concentratively with no deviation in the permeation of the drugs due to slight temperature difference and no injury or damage to living bodies and other organisms, and the production process.
CONSTITUTION: A chitosan membrane is impregnated with 2wt.% of bis(oleyl) phosphate or sodium bis(oleyl)sulfosuccinate, which causes liquid crystal-crystal phase transition with a slight temperature difference, to give the objective chitosan membrane and the production process is provided.
