Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer compsn. having good infection moldability and luster
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by thermally treating a mixture comprising 40-99 pts.wt. olefin copolymer rubber, 1-60 pts.wt. paraffin oil (the sum of the rubber and the oil being 100 pts.wt.), and 5-140 pts.wt. crystalline butene-1 resin in the presence of an org. peroxide. The compsn., having a good melt flowability, can be molded into a complicated shape.
