Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control homogeneous polymerization and proliferous polymerization at the same time and very effectively prevent the spontaneous polymerization of an acrylsilane in producing an acrylsilane on an industrial scale, particularly in the step of purification through vacuum distillation. SOLUTION: The purification by distillation of an acrylsilane represented by the formula CH2 =CR<1> COO(X)m SiR<2> n R<3> 3-n is performed in the presence of at least either a hindered phenol compound or an amine compound together with an N-nitrosophenylhydroxylamine salt. In the formula, R<1> is H, a 1-8C alkyl or a 6-10C aryl; X is CH2 CH2 O or CH2 or a combination of these two groups; m is 1 to 12; R<2> is a hydrolyzable group; R<3> is a 1-12C alkyl; alkenyl or aryl; and (n) is 1 to 3.
