PURPOSE: To provide a cylindrical electrostatic oil cleaner in which the degree of dust collection is excellent by constituting a dust-collecting body of a cylindrical dust-collecting body having a zigzaged bellowslike circumferential wall part and providing a plurality of sets of cylindrical dust-collecting body in a concentric circular shape in the respective parts.

CONSTITUTION: In a dust-collecting body C constituting a cylindrical type electrostatic oil cleaner, cylindrical dust-collecting body elements C1-C3 provided in the respective electrode plate E1-E3 pipes are formed into three electric field layers by three electrode plates E1, E2, E3. The dust-collecting body elements C11, C12 of two steps are provided in the respective electric field layers. The elements C11, C12, are so arranged that the bellowslike circumferential wall parts thereof are not mutually bitten, namely the crest part and the trough part formed by zigzag are not mutually bitten. Further a central electrode material provided in the central part of a vessel main body is arranged in the center part of the dust-collecting body C. A mode for impressing high voltage to the respective electrodes is so regulated that alternately arranged electrodes alternately become a high-voltage electrode and an earth electrode.
