Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a novel electrical insulation material improved in corona resistance.

CONSTITUTION: This material has an unexpectedly high level of corona resistance, contains a synergistic mixture of either a metal acetylacetonate and a dicyclopentadienyl metal compd., a chromium salt and a dicyclopentadienyl metal compd., or a chromium salt and a metal acetylacetonate, and is prepd. pref. by dissolving the synergistic mixture in an org. resin (e.g. an epoxy resin) and then curing the resin.
