Title:
TENSION GAUGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0743228
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a small-size, light-weight tension gauge which can be easily fit to an arbitrary location without cutting its wire.

CONSTITUTION: Hooks 6 and 7 and a pressing piece 21 are respectively fitted to both ends and middle of a spring plate 12. The deformation strain of the plate 12 caused by the tension of a wire 2 is detected by means of a piezoelectric element 13 stuck to the plate 12 and the tension is displayed on a displaying section 22. It is possible to fit a pointer and a gauge which indicates the deflection angle of the pointer to the plate without using the element 13. It is also possible, in addition, to measure the tension of the wire 2 by fitting rollers to the hook 6 and piece 21.
