PURPOSE: To perform decorative surface material adhering work simply and easily even by an unskilled worker by providing joint rods in a counter surface, placing the decorative surface material on it in order, and adhering and fixing them.
CONSTITUTION: A reference frame 4 is fixed at a lower end part of a counter surface such as a wall material or backing materials 2 on which attachment mortar or a decorative surface material adhesive 6 is applied. Next, work of placing a decorative surface material 8a on an upper surface of the reference frame 4 and pressing it onto an adhering surface is repeated, plural decorative surface materials 8a are adhered and fixed in order vertically on the adhering surface, putting vertical joints of a specified width laterally, so a first line of the decorative surface materials is formed. A first joint rod 10a is then placed on the first line of the decorative surface materials, and a second line of the decorative surface materials is formed on it in similar procedures as those for the first line. These procedures are then repeated to form a third line of the decorative surface materials and on in order.
