PURPOSE: To activate oxygen in air or water.

CONSTITUTION: This oxygen activating material is obtained by baking a molded article comprising a porcelain clay composed of silicon oxide and alumina as main materials and a small amount of a mixture of purified silicon oxide and potassium oxide at a high temperature. The porcelain clay composed of silicon oxide and alumina as main materials is mixed with a small amount of the mixture of purified silicon oxide and potassium oxide and a proper amount of water to give a clay-like material, which is molded into a given shape. The molded article is dried and put in a burning furnace. As the temperature is gradually raised, the molded article is oxidized, reduced and neutrally baked and made into porcelain.
