PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic clock in which current time is not stopped even when time input operation is carried out erroneously.

CONSTITUTION: If a lock mode is not designated through a slide switch 2 within five minutes after operation of an up/down key 3 when a current time set mode has been designated through the slide switch 2, a control circuit 24 sets a '0' time adjusting flag and switches the display on a digital display section 4 to a time measured through a current time measuring circuit 1. During the operation, the current time measuring circuit 1 keeps measurement of current time and displays current time correctly even after switching of display.
