Abstract:

A continuous process for upgrading lower olefin feedstock to higher hydrocarbons. Olefinic feedstock is combined with a diluent stream comprising C5 <+> olefins, and then contacted with a shape selective medium pore acid zeolite catalyst in a reactor zone to convert olefins to heavier products. The reactor effluent is heated and separated in a high temperature phase separator. At least some of the vapor phase is recycled.
