Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a polyester resin composition having high rigidity and excellent hydrolysis resistance and capable of keeping the mechanical strength even under hot and humid condition.
CONSTITUTION: This polyester resin composition is composed of (A) 10-90wt.% of a polybutylene naphthalate resin consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component composed mainly of 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and its derivative and a diol component composed mainly of 1,4-butanediol and (B) 90-10wt.% of a polybutylene terephthalate resin consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component composed mainly of terephthalic acid and its derivative and a diol component composed mainly of 1,4-butanediol.
