PURPOSE: To obtain a compact device, reduce the occupied space and permit the disposal to a variety of transport systems, by transporting the magnetic materials piled in a material storage part, in a magnetized state by a magnetizing means.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetic material transport device is equipped with a pair of driving sprockets 2 supported in turnable manner on a supporting structure X, three pairs of driven sprockets 3, and a chain 4. A driving motor 6 revolves the driving sprocket 2, and a plurality of lifting magnets 9 suspended on the chain 4, at intervals, are plurally shifted between a scrap yard S and a receiving port 12 by shifting the chain laid between the driven sprocket 3 in the longitudinal direction. Accordingly, a magnetic member M which is magnetized at the scrap yard S as member storage part can be continuously transported from the material storage part to a material distributing part by separating the magnetic material M at the receiving port 12 as the material distributing part.
