Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the title short fiber capable of providing a kneaded rubber having good dispersing property and orienting property to rubber as well as excellent characteristics by weaving doubled yarn into reed screen, subjecting the reed screen to adhesion treatment and then cutting the treated reed screen. CONSTITUTION:A cotton spun yarn or man-made fiber blended yarn is twisted to give a doubled yarn, which is then woven into a reed screen. Then the reed screen is subjected to adhesion treatment, e.g. with resorcin formalin latex, etc., and then preferably cut into 1-5mm length to provide the aimed short fiber.
