Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a solid matter high in mixing ratio of a coal ash, high in strength, low in dispersion of strength and excellence in dimensional stability to water by mixing a specified coal ash and a calcium compd., forming and subjecting to a hydrothermal treatment. CONSTITUTION: The coal ash having >=0.8g/cm<3> bulk density, 5-40μm average grain size and <=35wt.% aluminum amount expressed in terms of Al2 O3 and more than 1 kinds of calcium compd. among calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate and calcium silicate are blended so that the weight ratio may be (40:60) to (95:5), and 15-40wt.% water per solid matter is added thereto, and a binder, a water reducing agent, a water retaining agent and an admixture are added when need, and the mixture is subjected to a centrifugal compacting forming and aged at 120-250 deg.C for more than 2hr in an autoclave. The resultant formed body is subjected to a wet aging, a flooding aging, etc., at 30-100 deg.C for >=2hr before the autoclave aging. It is good to subject to an autoclave aging in a state in which alkali is incorporated.
