Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add the information of the various kinds of the data bases of users in relation to the optional position of a graphic/image. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display control means 34 for displaying the optional part of previously prepared image data as a background image, a retrieval position specifying means for specifying a desired position on the displayed background image by drawing the graphic for surrounding the area, a graphic information registration means 31 for registering the drawing information and position information of the graphic in a storage medium as graphic information and a character information registration means 32 for registering optional character information specified for the graphic in the storage medium corresponding to the graphic information. Also, it is provided with an image position retrieval means 34 for inputting the character information as a retrieval key and obtaining the position on the image based on the graphic information registered corresponding to the character information.
