Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed woven fabric of inexpensiveness and excellent form stability, as the range of the so called opal processing is expanded. SOLUTION: The mixed woven fabric is produced using the warp yarns comprises the two kinds of a natural fiber yarn and a strongly twisted ester fiber yarn and the weft yarns comprises one kind of a strongly twisted ester fiber yarn or two kinds of a natural fiber yarn A and a strongly twisted synthetic yarn and a part of the woven fabric is etched or subjected to the opal processing. This production process comprises the step in which the ester fiber A is strongly twisted, and the step in which the two kinds of the natural fiber yarn A and the strongly twisted ester fiber yarn as the warp yarns and the strongly twisted ester fiber yarn B or two kinds of a natural fiber yarn A and the strongly twisted synthetic fiber yarn B as the weft yarns are used to produce a plain woven fabric, as the warp yarns are allowed to pass through the weft yarns.
