SOLUTION: Characters '0' to '9', '*', and '#' are assigned to a 'palette 1', 'P or Q', 'W', 'E', 'A', 'S', 'D', 'Z', 'X', and 'C' to a 'palette 2', 'R', 'T', 'Y', 'F', 'G', 'H', 'V', 'B', and 'N' to a 'palette 3', and then 'U', 'I', 'O', 'J', 'K', 'L', 'M', ',', and '.' to a 'palette 4'; and the 'palette 2' to 'palette 4' can be switched by pressing one of buttons 'up', 'down', 'right', and 'left' once and after switching to one of palettes including the 'palette 1' to 'palette 4' is done, one corresponding button among 12 buttons is pressed to perform English sentence input.
