Abstract:
PURPOSE:To relief distinct shapes and make contours definite by placing the material which permits shape changing and does not cause any volume change on the face of a metal plate on the side opposite from the die and passing the same together with the die metal plate between rolls. CONSTITUTION:One roll 1 of two parallel disposed rolls 1, 2 is made a metal roll and the other roll 2 the roll constituted by rigid rubber. A die 3 comprises forming protruding parts 5 of required shapes and patterns by rigid materials like metal wires to a thin metal sheet 4 such as tin plate or galvaized sheet iron and fixing the same. At the time of passing this die 3 and the metal sheet 6 to be worked such as copper sheet between the roll 1 and roll 2, clay 7 is injected on the side of the metal sheet 6 to be worked opposite from the die 3. Then, if the die portions are protruding, the clay 7 press the circumference thereof and the clay facing the protruding portions of the die is compressed more and therefore the clay flows to around the same, thus the existence and contours of the patterns, etc. by embossing are made definite.
