Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a clad plate of multi-layer structure of >=3 layers which dispenses with the welding or the adhesion after the superplasticity is formed as the stock to obtain a composite formed body, especially having a hollow part, and to provide a large and hollow rigid board of higher degree of freedom in shape using the clad plated. CONSTITUTION: A core metallic plate 1 and liner metallic plates 2A, 2B on each side are pressed against each other by the hot rolling by interposing the press-fit preventing agent 3 therebetween in the prescribed pattern to manufacture a multi-layer clad plate, and at least the Al-Mg material for forming superplasticity is used for the core metallic plate 1. The pattern of the press-fit preventing agent 3 is of the stripe pattern, and the position of the stripe pattern of the press-fit preventing agent 3 is deviated between on one side of the core metallic plate 1 and on the other side. The fluid pressure is introduced to a non-pressing part by the press-fit preventing agent 3 inside the clad plate at 300-550 deg.C to bulge the non-pressing part (by achieving the super plastic deformation of the core metallic plate 1) to obtain a hollow rigid board.
