Abstract:
PURPOSE:To select the priority of competitive access and to prevent the generation of misinformation due to simultaneous access, by providing an access selection circuit controlling the access competition to a register commonly provided with two microprocessors. CONSTITUTION:To devices 1 and 2 provided with a microprocessor having the same or different kind of functions, an access selection circuit 3 determining and selecting the priority of access signals A and B is connected. A common register 4 is connected to this selection circuit 3, the selection circuit 3 provides the priority to the signals A and B from the devices 1 and 2 and the accessing to the register 4 is made serially. The selection circuit 3 is input the signals A and B, and provided with a decoder and decoding said signals, and a logical circuits and the like selecting an output of the decoder. An access synchronizing signal is generated to the selected device 1 or 2, an access delay signal is transmitted to the device 2 or 1 not selected and the generation of misinformation due to simultaneous accessing can be prevented.
