PURPOSE: To enable a nurse to set a patient up to about 90°C without a great physical strength by combining a sore prevention mattress having flat structure with an air mattress for changing the position of a patient, placed under the said mattress.
CONSTITUTION: The first air mattress part 1, flat and rectanguler with a length 200cm, a width 90cm and a thickness 8cm comprising plural, movable and hollow bodies and an A system cell 3a connected to one air supply and exhaust pipe 2 and a B system cell 3b connected to the other air supply and an exhaust pipe 4. The second air mattress part 6 is placed under the first air mattress part 1, and a right cell 8a and a left cell 8b are provided symmetrically to a longitudinal center line 7 and are used to change the position of a patient. The right cell 8a and the left cell 8b are provided underneath the shoulders of a patient. An air supply and exhaust controlling part comprises distributing valves 5, 9, a pressure regulating valve 16, an air pump 15, and a controlling part 17.
