Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely execute delivery of fasteners by a fastener delivery tube.
CONSTITUTION: A fastener delivery tube 21 incorporates internal guide elements 22, such as a continuous sleeve lining, plural flexible or resiliently deformable spring strips, or recirculating balls, the internal guide elements 22 form a longitudinally movable constriction means, deter free-fall of a fastener through the delivery tube by maintaining contact between a fastener 25 and a driving plunger 28, while the fastener passes through the delivery tube, exist therefrom, and comes into contact with a workpiece, and at the same time, secures orientation of the fastener.
