PURPOSE: To provide a wiper for a vehicle capable of preventing the chattering phenomenon and inversion noise of a wiper arm and a blade, preventing an overrun, surely maintaining the prescribed wiping range, and realizing the low cost with a simple structure.

CONSTITUTION: The pivot shaft 18 of a wiper 10 is fixed and supported by an elastic rubber bush 28. The input transmitted to the pivot shaft 18 is absorbed by the elastic rubber bush 28, and the chattering phenomenon and inversion noise is prevented. Since the elastic force of the elastic rubber bush 28 acts as the braking force to the movement of a wiper arm, an overrun is prevented, and the inversion property is improved.
