PURPOSE: To prevent pulsation, reduce noise and improve volumetric efficiency by a method wherein the center axis of the inclination of the swash plate is located to the sides of the upper and lower dead points of a piston than the axial line of a rotating shaft respectively, to reduce a dead volume in a cylinder chamber, by pecluding the discharge of liquid upon the discharging stroke of the machine.
CONSTITUTION: The swash plate 21 is provided with two sets of support shafts 22A, 22B, 23A, 23B as the center axis of the inclinations and respective support shafts are provided so that they are located along planes, including all centers of the spherical parts 11A of each piston, on the center axial lines of inclinations E-E, F-F, orthogonal to the axial lines C-C, D-D at respective upper and lower dead points of the piston 11 at the centers 01, 02 of the spherical parts 11A, and parallel to those center axial lines of inclinations. According to this method, the reversible variable capacity hydraulic rotary machine, capable of being inclined into both directions, may be formed, the dead volume, precluding the discharge of the liquid upon the discharging stroke and remaining the liquid in the cylinder chamber 10, may be reduced remarkably, generation of the pulsation may be prevented, the noise may be reduced and the volumetric efficiency may be improved.
