PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of projection of a fuel control equipment from a distributing pipe and improve resistance to vibration by a method wherein the fuel control equipment is accommodated in the terminal section of the distributing pipe, distributing fuel into a plurality of injection valves.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel is sent by a pump from a tank to the distributing pipe 10 through a filter and, thereafter, is distributed into respective injection valves. In this case, a fuel damper 20, controlling the pulsation of the fuel, is accommodated in the left terminal section of the distributing pipe 10 while a fuel pressure regulator, controlling the pressure of the fuel, is accommodated in the right terminal section of the same. The fuel damper 20 is formed by a cylindrical main body 21, a housing 22, a case 23, a diaphragm 24 and the like and the main body 21 is inserted into the enlarged inner circumferential section of the distributing pipe 10 through an O-ring 33 and is fixed to the distributing pipe 10 by a ring 34 at a position different from the fixed position of the diaphragm 24.
