Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic recorder capable of economically and easily glazing the recorded image.
CONSTITUTION: A glazing mechanism 7 is composed of a friction roller 7a provided with a felt 7b on the surface and rotated at speed higher than that of feeding rollers 5 and 6 and a supporting plate 7c arranged across recording paper 1. When the friction roller 7a is rotated clockwise, the feeding rollers 5 and 5' restrain the recording paper 1, the surface of the image after being developed is rubbed with the felt 7b at a high speed, to melt a toner grain with generated heat and made smooth by the friction, to be glazed.
