Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep a bearing-preloading elastic body not to slip out of the bearing box, by making long radius part and short radius part on the circumference of the elastic body used to pre-load in the bearing, and fitting this long radius part in the relief groove formed around the bearing support surface. CONSTITUTION:In the bearing box 4, outer ring 6 of bearing 2 is held loosely, and annular elastic body 7 is held between outer ring 6 of the bearing 2 and bearing support surface 8 of the bearing box 4. Long radius R of the elastic body 7 is longer than inside radius A of the bearing box 4, and it is shorter than inside radius B of relief groove 10 for cutting. After the elastic body 7 is attached in the relief groove 10 for cutting, inside diameter axis of the bearing box 4 becomes nearly coincidental with the center of the elastic body 7, and the long radius part 18 of the elastic body 7 is held in the relief groove 10 for cutting. In this situation, the elastic body 7 does not fall from bearing box 4 when it is turned upside down, because the long radius part end face of the elastic body 7 is stopped by the step between the relief groove 10 for cutting and the inside radius of the bearing box 4.
