Abstract:
PURPOSE:To properly push a valve stem in the axial direction by disposing the shaft of a sub rocker arm to be parallel with the plane perpendicular to a valve stem and also to be perpendicular to the stem in the swinging range of the sub rocker arm. CONSTITUTION:Each sub rocker arm shaft 11 is arranged to be parallel with the plane perpendicular to a valve stem 4a or 5a and also to be perpendicular to the valve stem 4a or 5a in the swinging range of a sub rocker arm 10. Regardless of any direction in which a rocker arm 8 pushes the sub rocker arm 10, it constantly pushes a related stem 4a or 5a of a valve 4 or 5, thereby improving the durability of the valves.
