PURPOSE: To prevent troubles such as paper jamming, etc., even when a copying speed is high by finishing movement of a suction unit to a sheet carrying position on a fixing part before the sheet reaches at the fixing part.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 251 is provided with a timer controller 255 for controlling the driving of the suction unit 100. The start feeding the sheet from a paper feeding cassette 25, or a paper feeding tray 26 is detected, and the suction unit 100 is controlled by the timer controller 255 based on the detection signal so that the sheet may be carried to the fixing part having a mode corresponding to an original color and the unit 100 may be moved before the sheet reaches at the fixing part. That is, a time when the sheet reaches at the fixing part is previously set by the timer controller 255, and by controlling a time of starting the driving of the suction unit 100 based on the set time, the suction unit 100 is finished to be moved to a prescribed position before the sheet is carried to the fixing part irrespective of a sheet carrying speed.
