Title:
BLADE STRUCTURE OF TURBOMACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6022002
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the secondary flow of working fluid for thereby improving the efficiency of a turbine, by forming grooves through opposing side walls of adjacent segments and engaging an anti-secondary flow strip between two grooves, in a blade structure having segment-like member provided in parallel along the circumference thereof. CONSTITUTION:Segments 7 forming the nozzle blades of gas turbine has grooves 8 formed through the opposing side wall 2' surface 18 of adjacent segments 7. The surface 18 is formed in such a shape substantially approximate to the main streamline of working fluid. The plate-like portion 22 of secondary flow preventive strip 20 is bridged over an inter-grooves area for engagement, with side walls 2, 2 of segments 7, 7 being opposed to each other. The top end of projection 21 is protruded beyond the upper surface of side wall 2 to act as a fence. This arrangement can prevent the secondary flow of working fluid which would otherwise be generated at the edge of blade, while simultaneously preventing the leakage of working fluid through the joined portion of side wall 2 positively.
