Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to perform smooth firing of pulverized coal for combustion, by installing heating pipe groups for preheating a primary air in the position of a partition wall. CONSTITUTION:A burner 2 is located to the end this side of a rotary kiln 1, heating pipe groups 6, 6'... for preheating a primary air are installed in the upper position of a clinker box 3, being partitioned into a high temperature part 4 and a low temperature part 5, namely the position of a partition wall of a refractory structure which is located in a maner to hang down from an existing ceiling, and a delivery pipe 8 of a high-pressure blower 7 for a primary air is coupled thereto. This permits the supply of the primary air which has high pressure of 1,000-2,000mm. H2O, and high temperature of 300-500 deg.C, and enables the amount of the primary air to be reduced to about 2% of the total air amount.
