Abstract:
There is a thin intermediate layer (7) over at least part of the area between the surface of the roll core (1) and the internal surface of the shell-shaped printing or copying form (2) for the adjustment and improved anchoring of the printing form on the printing roll (1,3,4,6). The intermediate layer may consist of a self-sticking plastics foil laid on the surface of the roll core, or a coating of plastics or lacquer, or of a basically metal material, or of ceramic. It may be in the form of a changeable shell.
