PURPOSE: To form a latent image on a detecting plate by executing image exposure, to scan the detecting plate by a beam, and to detect the latent image as time series, by providing a freely attachable and detachable or openable and closable shutter on a prescribed part of a cassette, and making necessary light incident into the detecting plate from said part.
CONSTITUTION: A cassette housing 21 operates as a view camera as a whole and cuts off external light. A prescribed part of the housing forms a freely attachable and detachable or openable and closable shutter 23, through which necessary light is made incident to a detecting plate in the housing. The shutter 23 on which a photoconductive body layer 3 and an insulator layer 5 are provided is drawn out when reading a latent image, a transparent electrode 1 of the detecting plate is exposed, and a laser beam is scanned. When the beam is scanned, voltage is applied through a contact provided on the outside of the cassette conducting to the electrodes 1, 6, and a latent image can be detected. Except the time when reading, the shutter 23 is put in the housing and the whole cassette operates as a view camera. As a result, the image exposure can be executed easily.
