Abstract:
PURPOSE:To recover an underlayer eluted metal with high efficiency and to facilitate the recognition of the final point of recovery, in rectification of zinc or the like, by inserting a partition cylinder into an eluting furnace, and locating a level gauge inside the cylinder to detect the final point of recovering the underlayer metal. CONSTITUTION:A partition cylinder 2 is inserted into the underlayer metal- recovering part of an eluting furnace, an air motor 12 provided with a pump stand 7 is mounted, and a support rod 14 which a metal pump 15 is fixed to is suspended. After top-layer Zn and middle-layer Fe in the cylinder 2 are scraped out and removed through the inner hole of the cylinder 2, underlayer Pb is pushed up into a spout 20 with the metal pump 15 by operation of the air motor 12 and successively discharged to the outside. By the continuation of discharging, the level of the top-layer outside the cylinder 2 is lowered until the middle-layer Fe flows into the cylinder 2. Consequently, the level inside the cylinder 2 is abruptly raised by the inflow of the middle-layer Fe. At this time, a flow-type level gauge 22 held inside the cylinder 2 abruptly rises, so that the inflow of Fe is detected by an indication rod 23. At this moment, the motor 12 is stopped to suspend the recovery of Pb.
