PURPOSE: To automatically supply powder and granular materials in a predetermined amount, by providing flap type dampers to the lower end of the body of a loading device so that the dampers are swung outward by means of the powder and granular materials which have attained to a predetermined amount, thereby the supply of the powder and granular materials is stopped in association with the swinging of the damper.

CONSTITUTION: Upon loading of powder and granular material such as, for example, clinker, in a hopper 6 into a hopper 8a on a truck 8 which is led to a position below a retractable chute 7, when the clinker approaches to its full volume amount, the clinker pushes flap type dampers 16 which therefore, swing outward so that shafts 7 to which the top ends of the dampers 16 are attached initiate their rotation. Therefore, notch formed in the side surfaces of the shafts 17 communicate between air feed ports 23 and air discharge ports 24 formed in valve boxes 20 which constitute valve devices 19, and thereby, compressed air is led from the discharge ports 24 to pressure switches 31 and pressure gages 32 through flexible pipes 30. As a result the pressure switched 31 are turned off, so that the instruction of stopping operation is given to cylinders 14 for closing a cut gate damper 15, thereby the supply of the clinker is stopped.
