PURPOSE: To produce processed food from tangle, in high efficiency at a low cost, by thawing and desalting frozen raw tangle, boiling in a seasoning liquid, and vibrating and drying the boiled tangle.
CONSTITUTION: Tangle is well boiled to obtain a slurry fluid A, lifted by the bucket elevator 1 and transferred to the first hopper 2. A definite amount of the fluid A is transferred through the drain pipe 2a of the first hopper 2 and the sliding channel 4 to the second hopper 3 by gravity. A predetermined amount of the fluid is charged through the pipe drain 3a of the second hopper 3 into the container 10 placed on the upper belt 9a of the conveyor 8 and containing a sheet S at the bottom 10b. The conveyor 8 is driven along the direction of the arrow P, and vertical or transversal vibration is applied to the container by the first vibrator 11. The upper surface of the fluid A is tapped with the tapping plate 13 of the second vibrator 12 to level the fluid to a definite thickness, and the fluid A is dried in the subsequent drying process to obtain the product.
