Abstract:
A pneumatic radial passenger tire (30) having a carcass structure (32) which follows the natural equilibrium curve from a point (43) substantially adjacent the rim to a point (45) substantially against the belt edge. The sidewall (52) having a primary flex zone Zp with a cross-sectional width from the lower sidewall across to the upper sidewall area which is no greater than about .17 inches and a pair of secondary flex zones Zs adjacent said primary flex zone.
