Abstract:
The slitter/scorer with head replacing device has a pair of rotating drive shafts (SA,SB) which carry roller heads (HA,HB) between which cardboard sheets are fed for processing. The head replacing unit has pairs of head-holding shafts (1a,1b and 2a,2b) of the same diameter as the drive shafts and mounted on rotating frames (3a and 3b) so as to form extensions to the drive shafts. A mechanism slides a roll head from a drive shaft on to one shaft of an extension pair and replaces it with a roll head from the other shaft of the holding pair.
