PURPOSE: To improve the countermeasure to the radio wave disturbance and to prevent the deterioration of characteristics with easy production for a magnetic head, by dividing the turns of a winding and winding round a side core at one side as well as a center core and the whole part of a head element at the other side respectively.
CONSTITUTION: Windings 1a and 1b undergo winding 8a by an amount equivalent to the number of turns of a side core 2a of a head element 1a of one side and then winding 8d continuously in the direction opposite to the winding of the core 2a including a center core 2c of the element 1a as well as the whole part of a head element 1b of the other side. In the same way, the winding is started in division at and after a side core 2b also with a head element 1b of the other side. For a dual-gap magnetic head used generally to a VTR, one of the two gaps is mainly used. The other gap is used only to a special purpose like a still operation, etc. Therefore the effects of parallel magnetic fields are eliminated with each other. Thus no disturbance is virtually given to a radio wave. In addition, the winding job is carried out as usual to ensure the best way for mass production.
