Title:
DRIVER FOR PILE INTO GROUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6033929
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit stable driving operation of piles by holding the lower end of the pile by a method in which rails are set on the front face of a driver provided on the front of a vehicle, and a vertically movable frame having a pile holder on its lower part is vertically moved along the rails by means of a penetrating cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: Rails 1 are provided on the front of a driver 2 provided on the front of a vehicle A, and a vertically movable frame 6 having a pile holder 8 is slidably attached to the rails 1. When penetrating a pile, the pile is pierced the through portion of the frame 6 and the lower part of the pile is exactly grasped by the vice-type pressing ends of the pile holder 8 by operating an oil-pressure cylinder. The penetrating cylinder 3 positioned on both sides of the pile is extended, the pile is penetrated into the ground by the stroke of the cylinder 3. The releasing of grasping of the pile and the contraction of the cylinder 3 are repeated to penetrate the pile. Since the pile is held at the lower part, stable driving operations of the pile can be made without the needs for tall equipments.
