Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform stable recording and reproduction, even in the presence of various surface wobbling and inclination of a disk, by making a magnetic disk perfectly follow up these occurrences.

CONSTITUTION: This suspension is a long plate shape as a whole and is provided with a base 2 to be attached to a supporting body, a fork like part 5 with two suspension arms 3, 4 extending nearly in parallel from this base for a prescribed length, and two suspension parts 6, 7 which are extended inwardly from each inside edge of the two suspension arms of the fork like part and in the direction nearly orthogonally crossed with the suspension arms. The slider of a sliding type magnetic head 10 is attached across the two suspension parts 6, 7.
