PURPOSE: To suppress noise wave for almost all frequency band, by employing a winding resistance type high voltage cable having inductance and resistance for the wiring between a distributor and firing coil.

CONSTITUTION: A winding resistnce type cable 200' having resistance and inductance is constructed with a magnetic core 41 and a winding 42. The resistance of the winding 42 is approximately several KΩ/mW15KΩ/m while the inductance is 500W1,500μH/m. When connecting a distributor 300 and the firing coil 400 through such cable 200', said resistance and inductance and the stray capacitance between the engine and ground will form a low pass filter. Consequently high filter effect can be achieved for the spark current in the frequency band of 20W100MHz.
