PURPOSE: To connect a core with a terminal without soldering by furnishing a needle-shaped contacting piece bent at a right angle at the terminal part of a conductive metal piece provided in a cord terminal connecting device, tearing the insulative covering which was intruded, and putting a strand in pressure contact with the contacting piece.

CONSTITUTION: Part of a conductive metal piece 4 constituting a terminal connection device for a cord together with a cover 3 is cut up to form a thin contacting piece as leaf spring and bent at a right angle so that a needle-shaped contacting piece 7 is formed whose tip assumes an acute angle. When a cord 10 is intruded to the metal piece 4 while guided by a cord intruding groove 9, the insulative covering of the cord 10 is torn by the contacting piece 7 to cause strand of the cord 10 to be in pressure contact with the contacting piece 7, and thereby the cord 10 is held by cord holding parts 8, 8'. This allows omission of soldering process and generates connection of the core with the terminal using a simple configutration.
