Abstract:
This reliable and inexpensive device allows localisation of the position x of the connection point of one of the electrical conductors (2) with unknown ohmic value, which are connected at distinct, unknown points of a collecting resistor (R1) with unknown but constant per unit length ohmic value, to which is also connected a standard resistor (Re) the ohmic value of which is a known optimal multiple (k) of that of R1.
The superposition of two such devices, separated by small rods of elongated form, can serve to create an ophat of R1rent, reliable and inexpensive tablet, allowing localisation of the position (x, y) of one of its points following exertion of a light pressure on this point.
