Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accelerate the movement of a movable element in a linear pulse motor and to improve the responsiveness of the motor by maintaining between a stator and the element at the prescribed interval by interval holding means having balls rolling on the stator. CONSTITUTION:A linear pulse motor is composed of a stator which extends toward the moving direction A of a movable element 20 and the element 20 which is movably arranged at the prescribed interval above the stator 10. When a ball 53 provided on a unit controller 50 rolls in contact on the upper surface 13 of the stator 10, the element 20 is maintained at the prescribed interval with respect to the stator, and when the rotor peripheral roller 52 of a unit controller 50 rolls in contact on the side surface 12 of the stator 10, it prevents the lateral rolling and moves the element 20 in the direction A.
