PURPOSE: To cope with the variation of width of a base without generating construction joints of concrete.

CONSTITUTION: In the construction method of a continuous footing for a house in which the continuous footing 1 for a house, having a base 4 installed on a levelled face 3 placed on the bottom of an excavated ground 2 and a rising part 5 erected at the middle of the upper face of the base 4, is constructed by pouring concrete in a form 8 assembled on the levelled face 3, a first form 10 to form the erecting side faces of the rising part 5 is set afloat above the levelled face 3. A second form 11 to define the erecting side face of the base 4 is erected at both sides of the breadwise direction of levelled face 3 and concrete 23 is poured in the second form 11 to make the base 4 by cast-in-place concrete. Thereafter, before the concrete in the second form 11 is cured, concrete 24 is placed in the first form 10 to erect the rising part 5 at site.
