Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate drawbacks of a system for measuring the tide level and the wave height based on the hydraulic pressure while preserving advantages thereof.
CONSTITUTION: An air flow-out pipe 1 having a flow-out port 2 at an end thereof is installed on the land while extending under the sea level. The air flow-out pipe 1 is coupled, on the land side, with means 3 for supplying the air at a constant flow rate under a fixed pressure and means 5 for measuring the back pressure and an operating means 7 derives a tide level and a wave height from a measured back pressure.
