Title:
STOP CONTROL SYSTEM FOR STEPPING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59123495
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to control the stop of a stepping motor at the ultrafine stepping angle by controlling an exciting current in the vicinity of a stopping position and sequentially forming a step phase as compared with the intrinsic phase of the motor. CONSTITUTION:When a brake is operated, a stepping motor is first decelerated at a 2-phase excitation. When the motor is moved to the step that the overshoot of one step is eliminated, a CPU 2 controls a phase changeover controller 6 so that a phase changeover switch becomes 1/2 step. Thus, 1-2 phase excitation is performed. When the motor is moved to the step that the overshoot of 1/2 step is eliminated, the CPU 2 sets the controller 6 to the 1/4 step mode this time. Then, the motor is controlled to 1/8 step mode. The motor is switched to the stop phase when the peak position of the overshoot is moved to the peak position at the stable position of the stopping phase, thereby completing the brake.
