PURPOSE: To return a dial to the initial state and to make the dial operation easy, by providing a reset key which stops the operation of a motor and returns the dial to a standstill position, for a controller controlling the motor with the input from a keyboard.
CONSTITUTION: A telephone number of a called party is inputted from a keyboard 6, stored in an external memory 17 via a one-touch microcomputer 16, the stored number excites an exciting coil 19 to drive a motor 2 fitted to a telephone set 1 with a controller. A dial speed changeover switch 8 located at the device 5 controls the dial returning speed and rotary angle with a dial speed changeover switch 8 located at the controller 5. The controller 5 is provided with a reset key 6a, and through the operation of this reset key 6a, the operation of a motor 2 is immediately outputted with the output of the controller 5 even during the operation of the motor 2, the dial is returned to the standstill, the dial is returned to the initial state even under any condition, allowing to make the dial operation easy.
